"Edwardian Solid Silver & Cranberry Glass Large Scent Bottle" Birmingham 1910. The scent bottle has an embossed silver pull-off lid which is fully English hallmarked for Birmingham 1910 and the makers mark is C. M for Charles May & Sons who were fine silversmiths of the era who specialised in silver jar tops and lids. It also has a silver collar on the neck of the bottle.
It is complete with its original glass stopper. The bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the silver lid is free from any dents or holes, there are a few scratches on the base of the glass commensurate with its age and use. It is of a very good size measuring 5.25" high x 4" across and it weighs a heavy 409.2 grams.
