This is an antique large scent bottle made from colourless glass with a nice moulded pattern. The pull off silver plated base metal cover is formed into the shape of an OWLS HEAD complete with yellow bead eyes. No maker's marks but it is stamped with Rd no. 573343 which I think indicates it's from 1910. Please see pictures provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition.
The back of the owl's head has suffered some impact and there are some dints back there. The silver plating is worn off at the highest points. There are some tiny chips in the glass on the base edge. There are some surface scuffs etc.
8 and 3/8 inches (212mm) long x 40mm in diameter on the base. My stock ref : #T229 scent bottles cabinet.Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.
