Large Antique Glass Dakota PEDESTAL CANDY Store 12 APOTHECARY JAR. LARGE ANTIQUE GLASS CANDY APOTHECARY JAR. Wonderful heavy molded glass candy jar measuring a large 12 tall. Featuring a sturdy glass Dakota shape, it has a tiered pedestal foot with thumbprint decoration which repeats on the collar and lid edge - neck is finished in a charming embossed design as shown. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or discoloration - neither the lid flange or the collar interior are ground - there are teeny tiny nips off the inside of the jar edge - these do not show and are minute.

Unmarked, believe jar dates to the early 1900s - it is large and dramatic - I've displayed it for years with a large collection of antique apothecary jars filled with a variety of old candy items -- this one comes with the colorful sugar dots on paper as shown which can be removed if desired. Jar enticingly displays any product - fun addition to any home or collection!
