Large Vintage Inside Reverse Painted Crystal Snuff bottle Cats Signed

  
This is the largest reverse inside painted snuff bottle we've ever offered. It's been part of our gallery collection for over 30 years and it's the sole remaining example in our inventory. It measures approximately 4 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches in height. It is in excellent well-maintained condition.

It displays an intricate Artist signed painting of cats on both sides. We do wish to add a word of caution!

There are great many snuff bottles being offered particularly online that are in fact not fully inside painted. They are simply decorative bottles with applied inside decals and slight over painting. A true reverse painted bottle requires the artist to use a tiny brush often containing a single hair. The painting is performed in reverse with the detail being applied before the background. This bottle is fully hand-painted and would be wonderful addition to any collection.
