Vintage Large Green Glass Demijohn in Wicker Basket
A demijohn is a large, narrow-neck glass bottle used for the transport of wine. The ripples and bubbles that would have occurred during production are typical for its age and manufacture. It is molded in two pieces and there is a light line where the sections join together. The color is an attractive sea green. It measures 25" high and has a circumference of about 57". The opening measures 1 3/4. It weighs approximately 21 pounds. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
